Heritage Group Accelerator Names Managing Director

Subscribe NowThe co-founder and former chief executive officer of MOBI is joining Techstars as managing director of The Heritage Group Accelerator, powered by Techstars in Indianapolis. Scott Kraege, who is also a co-owner of The Vogue in Broad Ripple, says his goals in the new position include driving exposure and leveraging resources for startup founders.
The Heritage Group is a multi-generational, family owned business located on the northwest side of Indianapolis. The company has more than 5,000 employees and operates internationally.
Kraege is a board member for the Indiana Sports Corp., a founding partner of the Techstars Sports Accelerator Powered by Indy.
He says he also wants to make sure a focus is put on giving back and growing the community by driving growth of Indy startups.
In a statement on the company’s website, Kraege said: “I’m excited to announce that I am joining Techstars as Managing Director of The Heritage Group Accelerator, powered by Techstars in Indianapolis. Born and raised in Indy, my 20 year entrepreneurial journey is rooted in dedicating time and energy to scaling successful companies and fueling local growth in this emerging heartland tech-hub. I’m thrilled for this next step to support and mentor early-stage entrepreneurs in my home, Indianapolis, alongside an organization that has made remarkable impact on Indiana’s ecosystem and growth, The Heritage Group.”
