Cureatr, which provides real-time care notifications to health care providers, says it chose the Hamilton County city because of its "extensive talent and resources."
Cureatr’s Care Transition Notification platform delivers information to providers, payers and care managers in hopes of reducing preventable hospital admissions and re-admissions. The company’s new office is in Carmel’s Meridian Corporate Corridor.
Cureatr was founded in 2012 by physician Joseph Mayer. The company employs more than 30 people in its New York City headquarters. Mayer says he was impressed by Carmel’s business environment and quality of life assets.
In a release from Cureatr, Indiana Secretary of Commerce Victor Smith said, "Cureatr joins a trend of tech firms from across the country that are choosing to locate operations and high-wage jobs here in Indiana. Across the state, Hoosiers are driving innovations that are changing the ways we live and do business. Indiana’s pro-growth business climate and skilled tech workforce stand ready to help companies like Cureatr grow and advance technologies to power our world."
Cureatr Chief Executive Officer Joseph Mayer says Carmel offers many important assets.
