Harrison’s new location is just a few blocks from where it originally opened as Lafayette Business College in 1905.
The Lafayette campus will allow students to pursue degrees in business, criminal justice and health sciences. Enrollment is underway for the college’s next start date on August 1.
"Students, faculty and staff are excited to be a part of this new chapter in Harrison’s long history in Lafayette," said Cindy Clampitt, campus president of Harrison College in Lafayette. "For more than a century, Harrison has been educating and preparing students for fulfilling careers in Tippecanoe County and surrounding communities. Being downtown again gives our students and the community improved access to our campus and more opportunities to work with community partners in the business, criminal justice and health sciences fields."
Harrison’s previous Lafayette campus was located on the city’s east side. Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski is expected to join Clampitt for the ceremony, which is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
