The partnership allows Harrison graduates to transfer to Grace and receive tuition discounts.
Under the agreement, students who graduate from Harrison with an Associates of Applied Science can transfer to Grace College to earn a Bachelors of Science degree through the school’s Opportunities for Adult Learners program. Students will also be eligible to receive a $100 per credit hour tuition discount.
Grace College’s GOAL program targets adults who want to complete a bachelor’s degree while continuing to work full-time. It offers residential or online management degrees and online human services and business administration degrees. The school says the program allows students to complete a degree in 16 months.
The school says Harrison graduates with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 can be automatically accepted into the GOAL program. Under the agreement, those students high school and work experience requirements are waived.
Grace College President Bill Katip says the schools’ philosophies are "complimentary," adding that "working together will allow more students to earn a bachelor’s degree, and in the process, potentially change their life in a very positive way."
