New York-based Hachette Book Group is expanding its operations in Lebanon. Duke Realty Corp. says Hachette has leased an additional 418,000 square-foot building in the Lebanon Business Park.

Hachette has leased space in the LBP since 1996 and this latest addition leads to a total of 1.8 million square-feet of leased space in three adjacent buildings. It’s the fifth expansion for Hachette, which is the park’s largest tenant. The new building formerly housed Shopko.

"I am excited that Hachette Book Group is expanding in the City of Lebanon yet again," said Matt Gentry, Mayor of Lebanon. "Hachette’s growing presence in Lebanon speaks volumes of our business-friendly environment, and we look forward to the new opportunities this expansion will bring to our residents and community."

Hachette Book Group is a book publisher and distributor with additional offices in Nashville, Tennessee and Boston, Massachusetts.
