The organization says the event is designed to provide employment opportunities for people who’ve experienced incarceration, criminal charges or are recovering from substance use disorder.
The career fair will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds in Lafayette.
While the career fair aims to help match employers and resources with job seekers in recovery or with criminal records, the nonprofit says anyone searching for employment can attend.
The nonprofit says participating employers are recovery- and felony-friendly workplaces looking to hire qualified candidates, regardless of background.
Additionally, the event will offer career and supportive services to job seekers. Agencies will be on-hand to provide housing, healthcare, and transportation services, among others.
The event is free to attend and registration is not required. You can connect to more details by clicking here.
