The program works alongside the college’s introduction to mecdhincal engineering course and pairs first-year engineering students with local engineers engaged with Zimmer Biomet’s Young Professional Network.
The mentorship network is launching with 24 participants — a number Grace faculty say they would like to grow in the coming years.
“This program is amazing,” engineering department chair Fred Wentorf said in a Grace College news release. “I am very excited about the potential to help our students and increasingly connect our program to the surrounding industry and community.”
