The company says in response to coronavirus concerns, the ribbon-cutting ceremonies were canceled.
The Lebanon location is one of 44 new stores the company is opening simultaneously. The department store sells clothing, footwear, home goods and beauty products.
Gordmans says all other elements of the grand opening activities will continue, including honoring its commitment to local high schools in each new store location by providing them with a $1,000 donation to help support their high school activities.
While the chain is opening this series of stores, last month it announced it was closing several underperforming stores, including one in Mishawka.
