Gordmans to Close Hendricks County Facility

(Nasdaq: GMAN) says it will close a Hendricks County distribution center. In a notice to the state, the national retailer says nearly 140 people will be out of work when it shuts the center down in May.
Gordmans has said it will conduct business as usual during the reorganization. The company has stores in Avon, Evansville, Clarksville, Lafayette, Fort Wayne, Mishawaka, Valparaiso and Schererville.
Earlier this week, Gordmans and Minnesota-based Gander Mountain announced they had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Gander Mountain has locations in Fort Wayne, Lafayette, Terre Haute, Greenwood, Indianapolis, Avon and Evansville.
