Godfrey Marine, with the help of WorkOne, will be holding a hiring event December 15 in Elkhart. Godfrey Marine is a unit of Nautic Global Group, which was acquired by another Elkhart-based boating manufacturer, Bennington Marine, in October. 

The event will be held at WorkOne Elkhart County at 430 Waterfall Drive from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Godfrey is looking for qualified candidates for a number of openings including quality inspectors, electric engine installers, aluminum welders and woodshop specialists. Other openings include:

• Final finish assembly
• Deck assembly
• Maintenance
• Local Class B CDL drivers
• Skilled pattern makers
• Metal fabrication
• Fiberglass repair
• Upholsterers
• Sewers

Job seekers are asked to bring two forms of identification, including one picture ID and a resume detailing their employment history. They are also asked to be prepared to interview with a Godfrey Marine representative.
