Leonard and Teresa Bissonnette will help support Franklin College’s new Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program. The gift will help launch the master’s program in January.
Leonard Bissonnette, a 1962 alumnus of Franklin, says the school offered him an educational foundation to build a successful career. “Terry and I are very impressed with Dr. Meehan and the Physician Assistant Studies program he is building. We are honored to support this program and its impact on students and the college.”
The new program initially received a $1 million grant in 2014 from the Lilly Endowment. The program will be the second master’s at Franklin, after the school added the Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2016.
