Nearly 100 nonprofits will take part next week in an event designed to connect people with board opportunities. Leadership Indianapolis says Get on Board will feature organizations serving youth, the elderly, animals as well as promoting arts, education and other social causes. Organizers say it has helped more than 2,500 people engage with nonprofit boards and committees over the last 12 years.

In a Studio(i) interview, Leadership Indianapolis Chief Executive Officer Linda Kirby calls Get on Board a "one-stop shop" connecting nonprofits with passionate individuals.

Get on Board is scheduled for Monday, October 5 from 4:00-6:30 p.m. at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. You can see a list of participating organizations by clicking here.
