The Chicago-based firm, which has a major presence in Indianapolis, has named Justin Fite chief revenue officer and Steve Sanger vice president of business & corporate development.
Fite joins Geofeedia from Salesforce, where he served as vice president of global and cross channel sales. He’ll lead Geofeedia’s global sales efforts.
Sanger most recently served as vice president of business development for GrubHub Inc. (NYSE: GRUB). He was part of the senior leadership team that executed a successful Initial Public Offering in 2014. At Geofeedia, Sanger will be responsible for managing the company’s strategic partnerships with third parties.
"We are excited to have Steve and Justin join our senior leadership team as we increase our customer base, expand our partnerships and further extend our capabilities to serve the corporate, marketing, public sectors and beyond,” said Phil Harris, Geofeedia’s chief executive officer and co-founder.
Since arriving in Indianapolis, Geofeedia has been on a rapid growth track. In April, the company announced plans to invest nearly $3 million in an Indy expansion that could mean 336 jobs over the next five years.
Geofeedia says more than 450 organizations, including news networks like CNN and the Associated Press and companies including McDonalds Corp. and Dell Inc. use its subscription-based platform.
