Genesis Products acquires major drawer maker

Subscribe NowGoshen-based Genesis Products Inc, a supplier of laminated panels and wood components, has acquired BHK of America, a manufacturer of cabinet drawers and components based in Virginia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Genesis says initial plans for the acquisition are to maintain the existing BHK leadership and sales team. The acquisition also expands the Genesis Products footprint on the East coast.
Genesis supplies materials to a variety of industries, including furniture makers and the RV industry.
“The combined strengths of Genesis and BHK will enhance our product offerings and service to the residential kitchen cabinet, furniture and closet industries,” said Jon Wenger, CEO, Genesis Products. “Both teams have had a longstanding focus on serving customers across multiple industries.”
Genesis currently offers domestic manufacturing, in-house design and engineering, and supply chain management across 11 plants in the Midwest and East Coast.
