The marketing technology platform provider says the name change from Fuzic to Vibenomics, announced at Thursday’s Rise of the Rest competition, "reflects the evolution in the way our customers view this technology."
The company creates custom audio announcements, music playlists and imaging for businesses. However, Vibenomics says the platform has grown into a way for a store to control its "vibe" while also driving the economics of its physical space. The company says the change also puts it "free and clear of trademark issues."
Last week, Vibenomics announced it would invest nearly $3.7 million to move to a space in Fishers’ Nickel Plate District and add up to 255 jobs by 2020. The company is scaling up rapidly, after launching its platform in March and soon after announcing a more than $3.5 million round of funding.
Vibenomics’ roster of clients includes Launch Fishers, Arni’s Restaurant, Jack’s Donuts and Sky Zone.
