Frontier Communications (Nasdaq: FTR) has announced plans to add 60 new jobs in Fort Wayne. The company is hiring residential sales and service consultants for its customer services call center at its Midwest region headquarters.

Frontier will hold informational sessions on January 8 at the regional headquarters at the top of each hour from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Interviews will immediately follow the sessions. Candidates must apply for the position online before attending.

"We’re very excited to offer more employment opportunities in the Fort Wayne area," said Dan Sullivan, area general manager for Frontier Communications. "Frontier is committed to putting customers first and to our local communities. Our employees live in the areas they serve and we support the local economy in the Fort Wayne area and Allen County."

Applications must be submitted by January 29. The anticipated start date for the new positions is February 1.
