Executives from Franklin-based B2S Life Sciences LLC will be joined by state and city officials Wednesday to celebrate its $1.5 million expansion project.

The company announced plans last year to grow its Johnson County, operations by renovating its facility and adding 9,000 square feet of laboratory space. 

B2S also committed to creating 23 new jobs by the end of 2020. The company says it has already surpassed that goal and intends to make more hires.

B2S Life Sciences support biotherapeutic drug development for large contract research organizations, pharmaceutical companies, smaller biotech businesses and startups.
