Subscribe NowAngela Bratina has been appointed administrative director for the Center of Women and Children at Franciscan Health Indianapolis and Mooresville. In that role, she will oversee all clinical operations, financial accountability for services including labor and delivery, postpartum, obstetrical operation room, pediatrics (and clinics), maternal fetal medicine, women’s health, neonatal intensive care unit and the gift shops. Bratina previously served as director of women and children’s services.
Board-certified as a family nurse practitioner and nurse executive, her career at Franciscan Health spans nearly 20 years. Bratina has served as an obstetrics nurse manager, advanced medical surgical nurse and as a registered nurse in adult inpatient and coronary care units.
She received an undergraduate degree at the University of Indianapolis, where she later earned her master’s in nursing. Bratina was an honors graduate throughout her academic years.
A member of the Indianapolis Coalition for Patient Safety, she has held several leadership and academic positions with the Indiana Center for Nursing, Indiana Wesleyan University, University of Indianapolis School of Nursing, Ivy Tech Community College and the Indiana Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative (Perinatal Substance Abuse).
