Fort Wayne’s Palmer Retirement absorbed by national RIA firm

Dan Palmer, president of Palmer Retirement Plan Consulting, and Retirement Plan Associate Kristina Dearing will join the Sageview staff, which totals 270. A spokesperson from SageView declined to provide information regarding other Palmer staff.
“I’m thrilled to be joining SageView at such a dynamic time for the firm and our industry,” Palmer said in a news release. “Its name and reputation are synonymous with excellence, and I look forward to benefiting from SageView’s scale, back-office efficiencies and business development infrastructure to support my clients’ goals.”
SageView has wealth management advisory services as well as contribution, defined benefit and deferred compensation plans. Since July 2021, the firm has bought four retirement firms and partnered with New York-based private equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners.
The transaction was completed on Dec.15. Terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
