The announcement comes just over two years after the first phase, the $20 million Promenade Park, was completed.
The announcement will include the unveiling of design renderings for the second phase’s public space, as well as details about construction projects. Mayor Tom Henry, Fort Wayne Community Development Director Nancy Townsend and other community leaders will be on hand.
In 2018, the city said the second and third phases of the Riverfront Fort Wayne project would focus on private development with Philadelphia-based DAVID RUBIN Land Collective leading the design effort.
We’ll have more on the project in Wednesday afternoon’s INside Edge e-newsletter.
