A family spokesperson tells our partners at the Indianapolis Business Journal Brizzi died at Heart Hospital in Carmel after suffering a stroke Wednesday afternoon. He was 53.
Brizzi served as Marion County Prosecutor from 2003 to 2011. At the time of his death, he was serving as an of counsel attorney at Lewis and Wilkins LLP, which has offices in Indianapolis and Fishers.
In 2020, Brizzi unsuccessfully ran for the Republican nomination in the 5th congressional district primary.
