Flagship Enterprise Center to host pitch competition

Subscribe NowFlagship Enterprise Center in Anderson will Thursday host its inaugural Flagship Pitch Anderson competition. The event will feature six for-profit businesses competing for a $20,000 prize package to help them fund and expand their ideas in Anderson.
The competition will take place at 6 p.m. at the Flagship Enterprise Center at 2705 Enterprise Drive.
The $20,000 grand prize package includes $7,000 in cash, plus business consultations, office space at the Flagship Enterprise Center, and a two-year coworking space membership.
The runner up will receive a $4,000 prize package and the Audience Choice winner will receive a $2,500 package.
The businesses participating in the event include:
- Women’s Wellness Clinic
- The Toast Cafe
- LivRite
- E Cubed Performance
- Cultured Urban Winery
- BYOB Build Your Own Burrito
“With several strong applicants for the pitch event, it is clear that the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in Anderson,” Flagship President and CEO Terry Truitt said in written remarks. “Our hope is that this event will encourage others in the community to take that risk and start businesses of their own, too.”
