Final RFP Issued For $100M State Street Project

Subscribe NowThe board overseeing the State Street Redevelopment Project in West Lafayette has issued a final Request for Proposals for the up to $100 million effort. The project aims to improve traffic management systems from the Wabash River through downtown West Lafayette and the Purdue University campus.
Proposals are due by the end of the year, with the board planning to award the contract in early 2016.
West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis says the "transformative" project will improve quality of life for residents, students and visitors. Purdue University President Mitch Daniels says the final RFP is "an exciting moment on the timeline of a very exciting project," saying the process will likely produce creative ideas for savings and enhancements.
