Congressman Andre Carson is a member of the committee and says the appropriations are expected in fiscal year 2019.
“I appreciate the Committee making this smart and timely investment of resources that will allow the General Services Administration to restore and maintain this vital federal facility in Indianapolis.” said Congressman Andre Carson.
The funding will cover repairs and modifications to the structure and system upgrades in the building’s parking garage. Concrete has degraded on several sections of the building and chunks of material have fallen from ceilings, posing a danger to people and property.
