He was a member of the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, which called him a "remarkable person and friend" for his community contributions.
Luecking was 44.

Visitation is Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. Central Time and Saturday from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. The funeral is set for Saturday 2 p.m. with a procession to Maple Hill Cemetery to follow.
