Fairbanks CEO to Retire

Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based Community Health Network is announcing that Barb Elliott will retire as president and chief executive officer of Fairbanks Addiction Treatment and Recovery Center. Elliott, who has been with Fairbanks since 2007, will retire at the end of July.
Elliott was named vice president and chief financial officer of the nonprofit recovery center in 2007 and also took on the role of interim CEO. In 2016, she was named president and CEO of Fairbanks.
Community Health Network Chief Operating Officer Jason Fahrlander said, “Barb Elliott’s leadership helped grow Fairbanks’ storied role in our community’s health and healing, and her vision helped integrate Fairbanks into the Community family.”
Elliott’s career includes work with St. Vincent Health and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Indiana, and she serves as board treasurer for Executive Women in Healthcare.
Fairbanks is a nonprofit addiction and recovery center that provides treatment to men, women and adolescents.
