Fabrication company expanding to Jeffersonville

Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based Best Equipment & Welding is expanding its Indiana footprint with a new service branch in Jeffersonville. The company said the move is in response to the growing needs of its clients in southern Indiana and the surrounding area.
Best Equipment & Welding provides custom fabrication services and manufactures loading dock and safety equipment for a variety of applications, including warehouse and distribution, pharmaceutical manufacturers and cold storage.
The 8,000-square-foot facility at 539 Champion Road in Jeffersonville is set to open later this month.
“The new facility will include factory trained service representatives supported by a fully equipped weld truck, spare parts inventory, and service facilities for loading dock equipment and general fabrication,” President Andrew Yeo said in a news release. “The Jeffersonville branch will be fully supported by our Indianapolis headquarters to handle projects of all sizes and scope.”
Financial terms of the expansion are not being disclosed. The company also did not specify how many jobs would be created as a result. A request for more information from Inside INdiana Business was not returned.
Best Equipment & Welding was founded in 1983 and operates a 21,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Indianapolis.
