The 2023 Design Presentations event will feature previews of 13 site-specific installations planned for the fourth Exhibit Columbus Exhibition, set to open in late summer.
The design concepts will be tied to this year’s theme, Public by Design, which was unveiled last September.
“Each participant visited Columbus for the 2022 Symposium, and now we get to see what they are proposing to create and how they arrived at their idea,” Exhibit Columbus said in a news release. “Everyone attending will have the opportunity to provide feedback in various ways. This public engagement is really key to this year’s theme.”
The event will feature presentations from the four J. Irwin and Xenia S. Miller Prize recipients, seven University Design Research Fellows, the High School Design Team and the exhibit’s Communication Designer.
The Design Presentations will take place Feb. 25 at the Commons in downtown Columbus. You can learn more about the participants by clicking here.
This year’s Exhibit Columbus Exhibition is slated to begin Aug. 26.
