Evansville logistics provider buys Progressive Transportation

Subscribe NowEvansville-based Atlas Logistics, a subsidiary of Atlas World Group, has acquired Progressive Transportation Inc., a Wisconsin-based provider of over-the-road pad-wrap transportation. While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Atlas says the acquisition enables it to grow its transportation management services.
“The acquisition of Progressive Transportation accelerates the growth of padded-van solutions within Atlas Logistics’ service offerings and delivers additional capacity to our network of agents across the company,” said Phil Wahl, president and chief operating officer of Atlas Logistics. “The timely decision was founded upon the principle of diversification, laying a foundation for organizational advancement as guided by the aggressive goals outlined in Atlas World Group’s Strategic Roadmap, Vision 2025.”
Progressive’s executive management team has more than 30 years of experience in the transportation field and more than 25 years in the pad-wrap market. Atlas says Progressive has worked with its two largest clients for 25 years.
