The University of Southern Indiana and Deaconess Sports Park in Evansville will play host this weekend to 13 collegiate softball teams from five states. The Midwest Regional Classic Division II GLVC Girls Softball Preseason Tournament begins Friday afternoon and runs through Sunday.

Teams from Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri and Tennessee will participate. They include USI, the University of Indianapolis, Kentucky Wesleyan College, Bellarmine University in Louisville and Ohio Dominican University.

The first game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday with the final game beginning at 12:00 p.m. Sunday. You can find more information on the tournament by clicking here.
