The deal is Elwood Staffing’s third acquisition in as many months.
Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed. Elwood says the acquisition increases its presence in the South, bringing its total branch network to 23 locations in Georgia and Alabama.
Elwood did not specify if any jobs would be affected by the deal.
“We are aggressively pursuing expansion with plans to continue opening new branches across the country throughout the year,” Elwood Staffing CEO John Elwood said in a news release.
The deal for NAOS Staffing is Elwood’s 19th acquisition since its founding in 1980. The company said it is pursuing a balanced approach to expansion through organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
Last month, Elwood Staffing acquired Missouri-based Advanced Personnel, just one month after purchasing IES Custom Staffing Solutions in Idaho.
The company now employs nearly 1,000 internal employees and 25,000 temporary associates nationwide.
