Wait Industries LLC this week completed the purchase of Voyager, a metal fabricating firm that supplies the automotive, RV and medical industries. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
In July, Wait purchased M-3 & Associates, which is also a metal fabricator. It includes a diversified lineup of HVAC products, ramp door spring systems, and steel bunk bed ladders.
“Voyager offers significant complimentary capabilities to our other metal fabrication business, M-3 & Associates. Also, Voyager adds breadth and depth to our product expertise as well as our customer base,” says Doug Wait, president of Wait Industries. “
The company says all of Voyager’s employees will retain their jobs and the company will continue to work out of its Elkhart location.
“We are particularly excited about Voyager’s workforce. They have a great culture of teamwork and the Voyager associates are looking forward to helping Wait Industries grow,” said Wait.
Wait says as part of the investment it will purchase $1 million worth of capital equipment.
“Due to a bright outlook for our company, we purchased our 98,500 square foot manufacturing facility to give us the flexibility to grow with the needs of our customers,” says Wait. “All of these new capabilities are targeted to better serve our current customers, reduce costs and pursue new markets for our markets.”
