Elevate is partnering with the Indiana Economic Development Corp. to provide access to up to $50,000 in funding for “innovation-driven research and product development capabilities” among Hoosier startups.
The program was initially established by the Indiana General Assembly in 2019 and administered by the IEDC. Elevate Ventures says now, the program will focus on startups with “demonstrated business needs and continued high-growth potential.”
Eligible startups could receive services from higher education institutions and nonprofit research providers throughout the state to support R&D, product development, and commercialization.
“Elevate Ventures has a track record of supporting Indiana-based startups through both programmatic engagements and pre-seed, seed and early-stage grant or investment funds,” Ting Gootee, chief investment officer for Elevate Ventures, said in a news release. “We are excited to have this particular program in our management portfolio and look forward to leveraging it toward the highest impact on our entrepreneurship community.”
Elevate Ventures says applications for the program will open a few times per year, with the current application window being open through September 17. You can learn more about the Innovation Voucher Program by clicking here.
