Associate Dean Joseph Khamalah has been named dean on an interim basis. Chief Communications Officer John Kaufeld says IPFW has launched a national search for a successor.
Eikenberry began in the position July 1, 2014, citing his "very broad reach" within the Fort Wayne business community. He replaced Otto Chang, who returned to teaching and research. Eikenberry retired as the Indiana regional president of PNC Bank in 2013. His banking career dates back to the mid-1960s with the former Fort Wayne National Bank. He also held leadership roles with multiple nonprofit boards in northeast Indiana, including the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum, Junior Achievement, Lutheran Hospital, Mad Anthony’s Charity Classic for Children and the Salvation Army.
