The company announced this week that it has made its first international expansion by bringing its products into Canada.
Egglife said in a news release that the original and everything bagel flavors of its popular wraps are available in 130 Metro stores across Ontario, with other flavors available in select locations.
CEO David Kroll said the move into Canada comes on the heels of “tremendous growth” for the brand in the U.S.
“Canadian consumers have been asking for egglife ever since our products debuted in 2019, and we’re excited to bring our unmatched nutritional profile to their shopping carts,” Kroll said in the release. “This expansion is a testament to our team’s unwavering commitment to reimagining the future of food as we continue to bring our innovative, better-for-you wraps to consumers everywhere.”
Egglife said it will continue to expand to more Canadian retailers in the coming months.
It’s a continuation of expanded distribution for Egglife, which includes introduction to Whole Foods and Food Lion stores in the U.S. over the last year.
Egglife’s wraps are made at a production facility in the Mid-America Commerce Park in Wolcott, which opened in 2019. The products were named a winner in the Protein-Packed Favorites category of Good Housekeeping’s 2023 Best Snack Awards.
