Subscribe NowDuke Energy has selected Brian Powers as general manager for its Gibson Generating Station in Owensville. He fills the role vacated by Mike Mosley, who has been promoted to vice president for Midwest generation. Powers has been with the company since 1995. He previously served as GM for Duke’s Crystal River North generating station in Citrus County, Florida.
Powers has also served in a variety of leadership roles in parts of the company that include environmental services, plant operations and maintenance, outage and project management and station management.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Florida in 1993.
