Dubois County Foundation Adds to Board

Subscribe NowDubois County Community Foundation has added Ashley Blessinger and Cory Menke to its board of directors. Blessinger is in sales and advertising for the Dubois County Bombers, a summer collegiate baseball team. She serves on the board of directors of the Dubois County Leukemia Association and is a member of St. Mary’s Church. Blessinger previously served on the board of directors of A Kids Place and, on the Huntingburg Stellar committee. She received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Evansville.
Menke is director of operations at OFS Brands. He previously served on the Dubois County Emerging Leaders steering committee and Huntingburg Steller committee. Currently, Menke is a member of Salem United Church of Christ and the Huntingburg Redevelopment Commission. He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Millikin University.
Other changes to the board of directors include Mark Balsmeyer’s appointment to vice-president, formerly held by Nancy Wilson, and Lonnie Nicholson’s appointment to secretary, formerly held by Andrea Tooley.
Jen Verkamp remains president and Jason Kelly, treasurer, for the year.
The Community Foundation is governed by 15 community volunteers from across the county who oversee strategic planning, policy and responsibly steward over $38 million in assets.
