Do It Best Foundation names new executive director

The foundation’s community affairs manager, Randy Rusk, is being elevated to executive director, the company announced this week.
Do It Best is a hardware and building materials seller, which has locations across the U.S. and around the world. The company’s foundation supports community initiatives in and around Fort Wayne and in areas where Do It Best has warehouses including Illinois, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina and Texas.
In a news release, Rusk said he plans to expand the Do It Best Foundation’s reach and outreach.
“We’ll soon be relaunching our website with our refined funding initiatives,” Rusk said. “It’s also where we’ll announce a major community fundraising events and provide easier opportunities to pledge financial support.”
Rusk has been with the Do It Best Foundation for nearly two decades, previously serving as a human resources administrator and then communications manager.
