Work Begins on Columbus Senior Living Community

Subscribe NowDevelopers and city leaders have broken ground on "Traditions of Columbus," a 129-unit senior living community. Indianapolis-based developer Leo Brown Group says construction of the $28 million will begin immediately.
The company says the complex will offer a mix of assisted living apartments, independent living garden homes and memory care apartments, creating 70 jobs upon full occupancy.
“We are excited to break ground on this state-of-the-art project, and we thank the community for their incredible support. We look forward to serving seniors and their loved ones in Columbus and the surrounding areas,” said Bill Morton of Leo Brown Group.
Traditions Management, a wholly-owned management company of Leo Brown Group, will run the day-to-day operations of Traditions of Columbus. The company says it will have a 24-hour nursing staff. As far as amenities, Traditions plans to offer a movie theater, fitness center and activities center.
If construction remains on schedule, the company plans to open in late 2020.
