DePuy Synthes Execs Grow OrthoWorx Board

Subscribe NowTwo executives from DePuy Synthes Companies are joining The Board of Directors of OrthoWorx, the state’s orthopedic initiative. Vice President of Worldwide Clinical Research Paul Voorhorst and Plant Manager Ray Gonzalez are replacing a board member who is stepping down. Voorhorst and Gonzalez have been involved with OrthoWorx as council members.
“Given the worldwide responsibilities of many executives from OrthoWorx member companies, the board agreed that having two representatives would foster greater continuity and meaningful interaction,” says OrthoWorx Board Chairman Tobias Buck.
Voorhorst joined DePuy in 1989 and is currently a Vice President of Clinical Research. He has also taught a course on acquiring and managing clinical data for the OrthoWorx Center of Excellence
Orthopedic Regulatory and Clinical Affairs program at Grace College.
Gonzalez began his career with Johnson & Johnson in 1996, joined DePuy Synthes in Warsaw in 2013 and is currently the Warsaw Plant Manager.
Voorhorst and Gonzalez are replacing Andrew Ekdahl, who is stepping down after serving on the board for three years.
