Don and Barbara Daseke have donated $20 million to the DePauw Trust.
The gift brings the university’s Campaign for DePauw to $286 million. The campaign aims to strengthen the university’s academic life, ensure affordability for prospective students, and support the work of advising and preparing students for future success.
"This is a remarkable and significant gift," said DePauw President Brian Casey. "As longtime and loyal supporters of the University, this contribution continues the impact Don and Barbara have had on DePauw. It has been an honor to work with and know them over the course of my time at DePauw and I am eternally grateful for their support."
Don Daseke graduated from DePauw in 1961 and has been a trustee of the university since 1985. He is the president and chief executive officer of Texas-based trucking company Daseke Inc.
