Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia has hired Larry Stimpert as its 25th president. He was a professor of economics and management, as well as the former vice president for academic affairs, at DePauw University in Greencastle. Stimpert came to DePauw in 2013 after serving as a professor of economics and business at Colorado College. His selection comes after a six-month national search.
