Dental company sets up shop in Indiana

A California-based dental service organization is expanding into Indiana. Our Best Life Companies has opened its first out-of-state flagship dental office in Granger and acquired South Bend Dental and Orthodontics, though financial details were not disclosed.
OBL established Granger Dental & Orthodontics at a former car dealership that includes 10 general dental operatories and 10 orthodontics chairs.
With the acquisition of South Bend Dental and Orthodontics, which took place in January, OBL said it plans to expand the 2,400-square-foot practice to 3,700 square feet and nearly double the amount of operatories by the end of the this year.
“We are excited to bring Our Best Life’s brand of exceptional dental care to Indiana with the opening of our flagship office and the acquisition of South Bend Dental and Orthodontics,” Our Best Life Companies CEO Marina Hurn said in a news release. “Our focus on quality patient care, state-of-the-art facilities, and a supportive team environment sets us apart in the dental industry, and we look forward to bringing those values to patients in Indiana and beyond.”
OBL said it is also in the midst of construction of a new dental practice in Goshen, which is slated to open in late summer.
The company did not specify how many new jobs are being created as a result of the expansion.
