The Star Press reports Delta High School has started construction on the 37,000-square-foot facility.
The two-story center will include a weight room, a fitness area for cardio workouts, a wrestling room, and a multipurpose room that could be used for batting cages or golf simulators.
The publication says the school wants to offer a well-rounded approach to wellness that students can use after they graduate, such as yoga, biking and cardio-fitness.
