Delaware County organizations see $687K in grants

The grants are awarded to support the needs of residents in the central Indiana county, especially in arts and culture, community betterment, economic development, education, and human services, the foundation said.
The foundation has grant cycles each quarter. Grant requests are reviewed on a rolling basis.
The latest grant recipients are:
- 8twelve Coalition: $30,000
- A Better Way Services received $65,000
- Animal Rescue Fund: $20,000
- Ball State University Foundation will receive funding for the performing arts center. A grant will be received this year from the Mutual Legacy Fund, with future grants from various unrestricted funds.
- Boys and Girls Clubs of Muncie: $50,000
- Cardinal Greenway Inc.: $35,000
- Cornerstone Center for the Arts, Inc.: $50,000
- Delaware Advancement Corporation: $25,000
- Funders Forum Fund at The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County: $7,500
- Greater Muncie, IN Habitat for Humanity, Inc.: $100,000
- Heart of Indiana United Way: $40,000
- Home Savers of Delaware County: $25,000
- Muncie Arts and Culture Council: $25,000
- Ross Community Center Inc.: $40,000
- Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana, Inc.: $25,000
- Southside Middle School: $7,500
- YMCA of Muncie:$87,500
- YWCA Central Indiana: $50,000
