In his role, he will coordinate the agency’s legislative efforts and work with state legislators on issues and bills before the general assembly. Young previously served as deputy legislative director for Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration. He also spent nearly six years working for U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman, first as a legislative assistant and then as legislative director. There, he was responsible for managing the congressman’s legislative staff and policy agenda.
Young has bachelor’s degrees in economics and social studies education from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is currently pursuing a law degree at the Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
