Bedford-based Radius Indiana says the locations are the latest to take advantage of a certification program through its partnership with Verisite, a site planning service formed by Indianapolis-based consulting firms Ginovus, Plaka + Associates, and the Veridus Group.
Radius Indiana, the economic development organization in southern Indiana, says the certification will ultimately help support cost savings and attract new businesses.
“With our strategic location along I-69 and alignment at the state, regional, and local levels, Washington and Daviess County offer tremendous advantages for new and expanding industry,” said Bryant Niehoff. “By partnering with Radius, the Indiana Municipal Power Agency, and the Verisite team, we are eliminating many of the unknowns in the development process and positioning ourselves to move at rapid speed when the opportunity presents itself.”
Verisite says it gives companies and site selectors assurance the site is ready for expedited development and that all needed documentation and data has been verified.
The 47-acre and 183-acre greenfield sites offer space for future industrial or commercial development. Radius Indiana says the locations have access to utility infrastructure needed to establish facilities.
