Cycling Group Highlights Indiana Trails

Subscribe NowThe Adventure Cycling Association and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials have approved new U.S. Bicycle Routes in five states, including 600 miles in Indiana. Bicycle Indiana Executive Director Nancy Tibbett says the designations will shine a spotlight on bike tourism throughout the state.
The new designations are among more than 2,100 total miles approved.
The new Indiana routes include:
U.S. Bicycle Route 35, which runs 360 miles from La Porte County and the Kentucky border to Jeffersonville at the Michigan border.
U.S. Bicycle Route 36, which runs 59 miles between the state lines of Illinois and Michigan.
U.S. Bicycle Route 50, which runs 160 miles from the Illinois border near Terre Haute to Richmond on the Ohio border.
