Evansville-based Curvo Labs has announced the acquisition of Michigan-based Mendenhall Associates, which publishes Orthopedic Network News. MAI will continue to operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary, and Stan Mendenhall will serve as president. 

ONN focuses on cost and quality issues and has been published since 1990. Curvo Labs chief executive officer Andy Perry says ONN is a trusted and known brand " and MAI’s past clinical initiatives provide a pathway for our clients to make better use of the data that they have been submitting to us,” according to Andy Perry, CEO & Co-Founder of Curvo Labs. “We are pleased that we will be able to continue to provide the services to the orthopedic community that MAI has provided in the past, and we are excited to welcome Stan and his team in greater partnership.”

Company officials say the acquisition will allow them to enhance products and offer new capabilities. The combined company will serve about 450 U.S. hospitals.
