Officials will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday on “The Paddocks” housing complex, which is part of Culver’s winning Stellar Communities bid.
According to a news release from the Marshall County Economic Development Corp., the Paddocks project is part of Culver’s investment plan in the 2019 Indiana Stellar Communities program.
Culver, as part of the Marshall County Crossroads team, is competing against three other regional planning teams for “Stellar Communities” honors and state grants. The team was a finalist in the 2018 competition.
This project is the latest from Sand Hill Farm LLC, which also built an apartment complex in town. Culver leaders say they need to support local companies by increasing housing options in the community, encouraging workers to live and work in town.
